There are a few reasons why the RTX 2070 is such a great GPU, the biggest of which being that it's one of the strongest graphics cards you can get right now and therefore you won't need to worry about upgrading for a long time. In addition, though, the RTX 2070, like all the other RTX cards, supports ray tracing and Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). The former is an advanced lighting technique that overhauls a game's lighting and makes it much more realistic, while the latter is a clever anti-aliasing strategy that improves performance considerably.

Right now, only Metro Exodus and Battlefield V support ray tracing and DLSS, but Anthem is expected to receive DLSS support in the near future as well, meaning that you'll be able to use at least one of the special RTX GPU features with it at some point. Lastly, the card is priced very well at $550. It's certainly not cheap, but it's far from being unaffordable, at least for dedicated PC gamers. Considering how strong the card is, that price is great.
Alternatives to the RTX 2070While the RTX 2070 is a fantastic GPU, there are suitable alternatives available that you may prefer depending on your desires and your budget. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 is a great card if you want to play Anthem at high settings but don't care about pushing higher resolutions, while the AMD RX 580 is a wonderful budget option if you won't mind turning some settings down.

The RTX 2060 is the least powerful variant of NVIDIA's RTX cards, but it's by no means a weak piece of kit.
